Alex Sloan (USPGA, LM, GSED) Alex Sloan was one of three people who attended the First  Authorization Instructors Course in The Golfing Machine and  was trained personally by Homer Kelley.

Alex Sloan was  certified as a Maser Instructor by Homer Kelley author of  The Golfing Machine. “GOLFERS, if you are looking for answers to help you play  the kind of golf you dream of, now is your opportunity.

John  Furze, my No.1 friend in the world and the best teacher I  know, is going to hold a one day class for golfers who  dream of playing better.

He has all the answers you want and will show you what you need to do to be  that golfer you want to be.  Are you a hitter or a swinger? Or do you know? Most golfers have no idea. John  will help you decide and this you MUST know.

Hitters or swingers can change  from one to the other any time they want once they know the details and John  will give you all of them.  Do not miss out on this opportunity.

Only an Authorized Instructor in The Golfing  Machine can do this for you and John has his PHD in The Golfing Machine”.

If we  as golf teachers were given gold medals as in the Olympics, you would certainly  be first on the podium to get one.

That is how I look at it. John, I hope your people down under are aware of the great man they have in  their time and day that is there for them. Keep it up and I know you will.

John is one of the best and most enthusiastic golf coaches in Australia.

He was  recently short listed as Golf Pro of the year in NSW. His high level of training in all aspects of golf makes him an ideal coach for those  planning a “Stay and Play “experience on an exceptional country course.

In the past 45 years of Golf coaching John has earned nothing but respect and  admiration from his fellow PGA Members for his energy and encyclopedic  knowledge of all the ways to train people to hit the golf ball.

He is also a Doctor of Golf Stroke Engineering (G.S.E.D.) which enables him to explain more technical aspects of  the game to those who are interested.

The members of Duntryleague Golf Club are extremely fortunate to have  Johns experience and affable nature available to them on a regular basis .

Those staying in the Duntryleague  House can also benefit a great deal during their visits.

My adventures of golf was astonishing. I started playing golf again and in one word was a disgrace. I found myself playing zig zag golf and finding every tree.

So I seeked out some lessons, to no avail.

I was recommended to a prominent place and after 10 lessons and hours of practice my golf was not improving.

I came across a coach named John Furze. To find this gentleman with that passion about golf. He has a Doctorate in golf.

The decision was made, if he couldn't teach me how to play golf, no-one will and I'll give it up once and for all.

The first lesson was just awesome. To meet such a gentleman whose enthusiasm and passion in golf  is so powerful.

The way John teaches you The Golfing Machine principles is just outstanding.

He makes it so easy to understand in such a friendly manner that you think that you have been best mates for years.

My final word to anyone is:

"IF MR JOHN FURZE can't teach you to play golf and enjoy it, give it up, but I bet you'll be still playing like me and enjoying every minute"!! Especially the lessons.

Kind regards

Peter Mullen

Many thanks for all of the time and effort that you have put  in over the last five years as my golf coach.

Not only do you have a remarkable knowledge of the golf  swing, but you have a unique ability to impart that  knowledge in a way that is easy to understand and to apply in practice.

Your positive outlook and enthusiasm for the game are second to none, making  each lesson enjoyable.

I attribute my golfing achievements so far to our fantastic  relationship - your commitment and dedication have been invaluable .

Your knowledge and coaching skills have improved my golf swing, but more importantly your personal support has helped my confidence on the course and kept me motivated.

I look forward to continue to working with you in future - and, hopefully, to greater golfing achievements together.

Any real student of the game of golf in Melbourne town should have heard the name  John Furze in the field of coaching.

I'm an old guy who has had great pleasure getting  into the Furze mold over the past seven years. How can he possibly retain his sense of humour I'm darned if I know?

Seven years I  hear you say, well in that time that anchor around the neck has reduced from 24 to  currently 15 which prompts the question, is this guy any good at his craft?

I don't believe John Furze has any secrets at all; he does however have a profound interest in getting better  results for his pupils. How does this happen? Well, he realizes every golfer is built differently, maybe has different  ailments, advantages and strengths which are not a bad spot to have.

Accepting that fact, he is a huge proponent of drills, drills and more drills. At a certain point his students get the  idea of the technical parts of the swing.

Now this can take some time but in the end I got it. I have seen a number  of golf coaches teaching and there are a million stories out there.

I haven't seen any within a bull's roar of Mr. Furze's dedication to a sound footing in the game of golf. Humorous  too and light hearted at all times.

In golf when you want to add precision to your passion, see John Furze (PGA, GSED)  and enroll in one of his programs now!

John has an amazing depth of knowledge based  on The Golfing Machine System of G.O.L.F. created by the late Homer Kelley.

His ability to explain, rapidly increase understandings and accelerate skill development  with never ending enthusiasm is inspiring.

You'll wish you had access to John's programs  and experience to help you with your golf years ago.

Learning becomes more effective  and enjoyable when the subject matter is presented within a well thought out framework, with a planned  structure, preferably created by a world class visionary expert and is contained within a system. Not asking for  much.

His system facilitates learning to a much deeper level of understanding and allows all golf swing questions  to be answered with fact based explanations.

This enriched learning process means a qualified instructor has the  ability to pass on knowledge based on a study of what works.

STOP PRESS: David drops 17 strokes off his handicap in one year

Every golfers dream is getting their handicap down.

For some it is a lifelong pursuit whether its to get to single figures or to nudge it closer to a 20 mark instead of 27.

Three Australian Club golfers who have improved more than any other during 12 months and thank you to Micropower and Golf Australia for their assistance and research.

One of those players is David Treasure who with the expert tutoring and guidance from Teaching Professional John Furze (PGA, GSEED) lowered his handicap from 31 to 14 in just one year.

David has played golf all his life but it wasn't until he started getting regular lessons with John that he saw his game improve out of site. In just 12 months, he saw his handicap plummet 17 shots.

I was about to give up this game, I was completely over it. The guys in my regular group were telling me I should go and try something different.

Every part of my game needed work. I was hitting huge slices, topping the ball,  and I couldn't' string three or four shots together. I just couldn't compete.

So my first step to a better golf game was looking for a golf coach, which is when he got in touch with experienced PGA Professional and The Golfing Machine Doctorate Instructor John Furze at Duntryleague Golf Club, in Orange.

I did a lot of research on golf coaches and discovered The Golfing Machine, which offers an actual structure of teaching. David regularly makes a  two hours drive  to see John but also uses technology to keep in contact with his mentor.

David has ticked off a list of goals he had set himself and with all facets of his game improving, he has now even lowered his handicap further into single figures.

David continues to have follow up lessons and is in regular communication with John.

become the best golfer you can

Frustrated and Deflated - No Longer

Why is everyone else I am playing with hitting an 8 iron into this green and I am hitting my 6 iron and still coming up short?

Why is everyone else’s driver so far down the fairway while mine is always short and in the right hand rough?

Why does my golf coach seem to tell me the same drill over and over again, month after month and I do them obsessively and still see the same result?

Does that sound familiar? This was me, well 12 weeks ago it was me.

At 33 now, I had played sport all my life. I can whip a forehand topspin passing shot down the line without a thought, I can curve a soccer ball right to left, high, low, however you want it.

Seriously, how hard could golf be for a reasonably co-ordinated guy like me. I may not be the most talented guy on earth, but I am a hard worker.

I wonder down to the local golf range and have my first lesson. After an introduction to grip and posture I excitedly ask when I should come back, to which the pro stiffs the 6 iron we had been using down the middle of the practice fairway. When they start looking like this, he says. Pffft, I won’t be coming back to see you I thought.

The next week I find another pro, one who cares. I continue fortnightly lessons for almost 2 years here. Within 6 months I see quick improvement and work my way down to a handicap of 22, however that’s as good as it gets.

How do I hit it longer? Swing harder I am told.

How do I hit it straighter? Focus more on your target I am told.

Frustrated and deflated I listen to a friend who has just finished Johns structured program and the effect it has had on his game.

Due to past experiences, I have my doubts but tell myself I will give this one last try and if this bloke can’t help me, I must be beyond help.

Six lessons down the track and I am well on my way to where I have always wanted to be. Not only gained 2.5 club lengths, now straighter than ever before, I understand and can diagnose what has gone wrong during my swing when I do miss.

This knowledge not only improves the confidence in my own game but allows me the implement a structured plan on the range to maintain what we have achieved.

While other pros are constantly looking at their watches and rush you out the door, John will not be satisfied until he is sure you grasp the point of what bit is he is trying to get across.

He will research and email you related internet links, he will review and promptly give feedback of mobile phone videos you have emailed him between lessons to ensure your practice time is effectively spent and his website acts like a step-by-step guide with detailed descriptions and clear photos you can follow as you progress.

There are no airy-fairy golf digest tips here, the program follows a tried and proven specific path.

If you set out on this journey and do not deviate from the path, you will find the destination you aspire to reach.
